The Lake House, is a new residential care centre in Perth's northern suburbs, forming part of the Kinross Care Community.
The Lake House consists of a 96-bed multi-storey building and provides a calm environment for older people to receive professional and compassionate care. It also offers respite to carers of people living with dementia in the community via Club Kinross.
Amana Living has taken the best of modern residential design to create a home that fits seamlessly with the local surrounds and offers older people peace, security and sanctuary. Located close to local shops and parks, the centre has large landscaped gardens that tie in with local flora and fauna, plenty of activity and relaxation areas, and spacious accommodation.
The Lake House accommodation is split across two levels, and multiple wings which are colour-coordinated to assist with navigation and spatial recognition. Communal dining can be enjoyed in casual dining areas decorated to match the colour palette of the wing, for the ease of people living with dementia.
Spacious bedrooms offer plenty of natural light and views of the local area or internal courtyards. Rooms have the ability to be personalised, and contain a small nook outside the door to feature treasured items and assist with room recognition.
