Pre-Paid Funerals

Pre-paid funerals are services which have been organised and paid for in advance. These are arranged at a fixed price, which will not increase with inflation. You can rest assured that your wishes will be carried out in a dignified and meaningful way and that the funeral costs, which you pay now, are all that will ever need to be paid, as specified on our pre-paid Funeral Agreement.

• Provides the assurance that the funeral you desire is fully paid for, regardless of cost increases between now and when the funeral actually takes place, and therefore no added financial burden on your family. There are no hidden extras, further service charges, or adjustments to cover future price rises.
• It’s a safe and secure investment that is held by an independent but government regulated body. We purchase a Funeral Bond in your name under the provisions and regulations of the Funerals Act 2006, which specifies how and where your money is to be invested, your obligations, and our responsibilities as your nominated Funeral Director.
• Are fully exempt from the assets testing on pensions. (conditions apply)

Pre-Arranged Funerals

A pre-arranged funeral is one which is organised in advanced, the requirements specified in a Statement of Intent drawn up with our company.

It is invaluable that your wishes are clearly stated and your relatives, executors or friends know exactly what you would like to do. A pre-arranged funeral is not pre-paid. Payment is made to us at the time of death, at the price we then charge for that standard of funeral. The price is comparable to the price of today allowing for inflationary increases and is costed at the same place in the market range of funerals at the time.
