Moran Roxburgh Park is nestled in a picturesque location between recreational parkland and a lake, in the residential area of Roxburgh Park. Our home has been designed on one level to capture the sun and provide easy access, resulting in a bright modern residential aged care home set in lush gardens. Five spacious households are tastefully furnished with quality furnishings and fittings throughout including a superior display of artworks. Each residential household has dedicated dining, lounge and sitting areas with smaller tranquil spaces, reading areas and sunny nooks for residents to use and enjoy.

Resident rooms, with private ensuites, are spacious and designed for privacy, comfort and security. Rooms have views of our beautifully maintained gardens and also include remote-controlled televisions. Residents have access to an onsite cafe, physiotherapy, hairdresser, visiting beautician, optometry, podiatry, regular exercise classes and our leisure & lifestyle program.

We have a professional, highly trained team providing round the clock care, 365 days a year. Our Care Manager works closely with the Clinical Care Co-ordinator, Nursing Care team, local GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure that we will provide quality care and medical support for all residents.

Our care model combined with our lifestyle and wellness programs helps residents to do the things they enjoy; to feel included and to retain as much freedom of choice, independence and control as possible.

Our single Deluxe Suites are spacious, bright and modern with an average room size of 29 sqm.

Deluxe Suites attract a maximum refundable deposit of $550,000.

Our Premium companion rooms accommodate two residents, sharing an ensuite bathroom. Premium companion rooms are bright and modern with an average room size of 22 sqm. Premium companion rooms attract a maximum refundable deposit of $280,000 per person.

Residents are encourage to bring small pieces of furniture and personal items with them.

Premium companion residents have access to communal lounge, dining room, reading nooks, well stocked library,

computer corner, TV lounge with Smart TV and Foxtel, snack bars and tranquil spaces.

Direct access to landscaped garden, courtyards, outdoor seated areas, verandas and safe walking paths.

Premium companion room accommodation/design features include:

Common lounges
Large screen smart TV & Foxtel
Individually controlled split system air conditioning

SUPPORTED ROOM

Some people will have their accommodation costs paid in full or in part by the Australian Government. Eligibility for a supported aged care bed is determined by submitting a ‘Request for Asset Assessment’ to Centrelink and received confirmation from Centrelink of your supported status prior to admission.

Supported residents have access to communal lounge, dining room, reading nooks, well stocked library,

computer corner, TV lounge with Smart TV and Foxtel, snack bars and tranquil spaces.

Direct access to landscaped garden, courtyards, outdoor seated areas, verandas and safe walking paths.

Supported room accommodation/design features include:

Our Supported Rooms have a maximum of two residents sharing an ensuite bathroom. The average room size is 22 sqm including the private ensuite bathroom. Residents are encourage to bring small pieces of furniture and personal items with them.

FEE & PAYMENTS

BASIC DAILY CARE FEE

$63.82

The Basic daily Care Fee equates to 85% of the full pension and is determined by the government (read more about this here). The fee amount is reviewed on the 20th March and 20th September each year, in line with the pension increase. Everyone in aged care is required to pay this fee unless they are experiencing financial hardship which is determined by Centrelink.

PAYMENT CALCULATOR:

In addition to care fees you may also be required to pay an accommodation payment. The accommodation payment refers to the price of the room that you choose and will vary across aged care homes.
To allow for maximum flexibility there are four ways in which you can choose to pay for your accommodation. We recommend that you seek financial advice from an experienced advisor specialising in Aged Care.

Refundable Accommodation Deposit: $

Use the slider bar to insert the Refundable Deposit amount you have available, The calculator will work out any Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) required. If you have the full lump sum of your Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) available you do not need to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP). You are only required to pay the Basic Daily Care Fee, Daily Means Tested Care Fee and Extra Service Fee (if applicable at the Moran home of your choice).

Daily Accommodation Payment:$

Use the slider bar to insert the Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP). Note: If you pay your full accommodation cost as a daily fee and have assets to put up as security with no lump sum payment, you can use this method to pay for your accommodation. Note: a DAP attracts an interest fee at the maximum permissible interest rate of 8.17%. A DAP is a daily payment paid on top of the basic daily care fee, means tested care fees and extra service fee (if applicable at the Moran home of your choice).
