With an additional adjacent room in our Diamond + package, we ensure that couples can enjoy the benefits of shared living while preserving the familiarity of independent lifestyles. This extra space not only allows for the support and companionship of a spouse or close friend but can help to maintain a sense of autonomy.
Enjoy the essence of independent living with a cosy, dual bedroom arrangement or create a harmonious living-and-bedroom configuration. With two private ensuites, you’ll have complete flexibility to design your personal space, offering comfort, privacy, and the freedom to cherish precious moments with your loved ones right in your own suite.
The suite
The Diamond Premium Suite is your choice for spacious comfort and flexible living, tailored to meet diverse lifestyles. Spanning the largest area among all our suites, this Suite features a large private ensuite, grand windows offering immersive views, 24/7 nurse care, a 50-inch smart TV, built-in robes with secure storage for personal items, and premium soft furnishings and specialised aged-care furniture. The unique aspect of the Diamond Suite is its extraordinary versatility: it can accommodate couples for a twin-sharing arrangement or be configured as a studio layout, offering a shared bed and living space.
Funding examples
Residents may choose to pay for their aged care accommodation using a number of methods. The three payment options are:
- A Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), these deposits are the prices listed for each Suite type.
- A percentage of the total Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) and a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP), or
- A Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP).
An example of the mixed percentage payment of the RAD and a DAP would be:
If you choose a Opal Courtyard Suite with a price (RAD) of $550,000, you may decide to pay half the price (RAD) of $275,000 in one lump sum and make the other 50% up with a DAP.
The DAP is calculated by using the maximum permissible interest rate per annum (MPIR) set by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
An example of paying only a daily accommodation payment would be:
If you choose a Opal Courtyard Suite with a price (RAD) of $550,000, you may want to pay no upfront refundable accommodation payment (RAD) and simply pay the daily accommodation payment (DAP). This payment will therefore be calculated on the full $550,000.
