Our program of social and recreational activities will help you stay healthy and connected in your community.

You can participate if you’re:

  • over 65 (or 50+ for First Nations people)
  • Living independently, in your own home or a retirement village.

Here are some of the Healthy Living for Seniors activities you can expect at a Uniting centre or local community venue near you.

Healthy Living for Seniors makes it easy to stay active and connected, even if you’re staying at home.

If you have access to a PC or tablet, you can choose from a range of online activities via our Senior Health Hub, including morning movement, arts and crafts, trivia and more.

How it works

Step 1

Personalise your plan

Tell us about your own goals, interests and preferences.

We’ll work with you to develop a personalised plan of activities that suit you.

Step 2

Sign the service agreement

Before you start your activities, you'll need to sign a service agreement.

Step 3

Check your statement

Your monthly statement will display the total contribution fee to be paid.


Am I eligible for funding?

This program can be partly or fully funded by the government through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or a home care package (HCP).

Before you can receive government funding you’ll need to:

  1. Register with My Aged Care 

  2. Complete an assessment with the Regional Assessment Service (RAS) or Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). 

Start as soon as you can – it can take a couple of months to complete.
