Moran Stockton is situated in a picturesque waterside location with lovely water views and is just a ferry ride from Newcastle. Nestled between Stockton Beach and the Hunter River, Stockton is a residential suburb boasting a relaxed coastal lifestyle.

The Home has been designed to capture plenty of natural light and provide easy access to beautiful gardens and peaceful outdoor spaces. The bright modern residential aged care home is tastefully furnished with dedicated dining, lounge and sitting areas as well as smaller tranquil spaces and sunny nooks for residents and their families to use and enjoy. Secure environments help residents living with dementia to feel safe whilst still being able to enjoy the outdoors and gardens.

Resident rooms feature private ensuites and are designed for privacy, comfort and security. Residents have access to physiotherapy, a hairdresser, visiting allied health services, regular exercise classes and our wellness and lifestyle programs.

Basic Companion Room attracts a maximum refundable deposit of $295,000 per person.

Residents are encouraged to bring small furniture and personal items with them.

FEE & PAYMENTS

BASIC DAILY CARE FEE

$63.82

The Basic daily Care Fee equates to 85% of the full pension and is determined by the government (read more about this here). The fee amount is reviewed on the 20th March and 20th September each year, in line with the pension increase. Everyone in aged care is required to pay this fee unless they are experiencing financial hardship which is determined by Centrelink.

MEANS TESTED CARE FEE

ACCOMMODATION FEES

In addition to care fees, you may also be required to pay an accommodation payment. The accommodation payment refers to the price of the room that you choose and will vary across aged care homes. To allow for flexibility there are 4 ways in which you can choose to pay for your accommodation. We recommend that you seek advice from an experienced financial advisor specialising in aged care.

You are only required to pay the Basic Daily Care Fee, Daily Means Tested Care Fee and Extra Service Fee (if applicable at the Moran home of your choice).

Note: If you pay your full accommodation cost as a daily fee and have assets to put up as security with no lump sum payment, you can use this method to pay for your accommodation.
