Nestled in a quiet and leafy residential area in Brisbane's south, our Care Community has easy access to excellent local amenities. The nearby train station connects to Brisbane's CBD. We offer welcoming living spaces in a modern yet homely environment, with personalised care delivered by our experienced team. With an accessible walking path through our expansive gardens, and a large Clubhouse with café and entertainment area, we encourage our residents to stay active and connected. Our two residential buildings feature spacious lounge areas designed for contemporary indoor and outdoor living. It’s an ideal environment for spending time with loved ones and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Care at Bethania Parklands

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care with palliative care, dementia care and respite care services. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Be it enjoying a walk around our lake, or creative pursuits such as music, arts and crafts, or having a cuppa with friends in our courtyard cafe, there’s plenty to do at Bethania Parklands Care Community. We’re co-located with Jeta Gardens retirement living and we foster a sense of community and belonging. I have not been here very long but it is very nice. The staff look after you very well. I must admit I do get very lonely because I am not a good mixer and keep to myself a lot in my room. I wish I mixed a lot more but my hearing puts me off a bit as I find it very hard to hear. The food is good.

The staff have been incredibly kind and attentive, always keeping us informed and treating our family member like their own. My pop was admitted to this care facility February, over this course he has had multiple falls bruises and other injuries, i understand this is inevitable in some cases but they did not follow up with proper safety protocols by adding fall proof mats and continuing to leave him unattended. He has dementia and is out on a strictly puréed soft food diet, yesterday he was given weetbix without much milk, on which he choked, and no one in that ward came to check, it was Glennis from another ward who saved him. Multiple times throughout the day the building is completely empty of staff as if they all take break together, they do not take caring as serious as it can be. As pretty as the place is, the care is not, aside from a few lovely lady’s, most employees are not committed enough. Furthermore, their gate which was broken and would not open for cars was said to be fixed months ago. All they did was repaint it as everyone’s sits in their car at the gate ringing and ringing the phone only for someone to answer, say okay, hang up and then not come to manually open the gate. Multiple times i have walked in and my pop has been laying in his own shit. They seem to take advantage of his confused mind which is just wondering where the hell he is. My pop cannot be the only elder being mistreated in this home and we will definitely be moving him.

Living at Bethania Parklands has been a great experience. The staff here are kind and caring, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a chat. The home is comfortable and well-kept, with plenty of activities to keep us busy. I have been very grateful for the alpacas, ponies and musical acts they host. Meals are delicious and plenty. It's home and I love making new friends and learning new activities I may not have before moving in. Thank you for all you do for me

The staff at Bethania Parklands are caring, helpful and knowledgeable. My husband has advanced stage dementia, is deaf and has speech issues, so not an easy patient, and yet he is always clean, shaved and dressed in fresh clothes. The food is also excellent and plentiful. He is content there.
