Macquarie Lodge Aged Care Centre

Macquarie Lodge Aged Care Centre is a welcoming and supportive aged care centre with a dynamic community atmosphere. A broad spectrum of personalised care options are available including permanent care, respite (short-term) care, palliative care and specialised dementia care. Opening its doors in 2010, Macquarie Lodge has been built with residents' comfort, lifestyle and sense of security in mind. The outdoor living area is perfect for residents to do outdoor activities, enjoy live entertainment, relax and enjoy some quiet time or spend time with their loved ones.

The Centre is centrally located only 20 minutes from Sydney CBD, close to Hurstville Shopping Centre and just minutes away from Brighton-Le-Sands beach.

A dedicated team run an active Lifestyle program, which includes a variety of wellness, exercise and community activities, to uphold our residents' overall health and wellbeing. These programs are also designed so that they can keep pursuing their hobbies and interests, and possibly discover new passions. Dedicated Salvation Army Chaplains are onsite, who can provide pastoral and spiritual care to residents, if they desire.

Food is prepared onsite using fresh produce by an experienced catering team. Each menu is developed in regular discussion with a dietician and the residents.

Family and friends are an important part of the Macquarie Lodge community and the Centre also has close ties with local community organisations, often inviting local schools and entertainers for activities and joining in on community initiatives. 

The Centre's goal is to promote a unique experience of choice, lifestyle and belonging to all people as they age.
