Mercy Place Ave Maria is a relaxed, welcoming home set in a tranquil environment of spacious courtyards, a beautiful lake and peaceful, park like gardens. Located in the heart of Shepparton, our home provides an active country lifestyle with residents tending to our raised garden beds, playing bowls, swimming and connecting with local clubs. Our small household living approach focuses on meaningful relationships and building a genuine sense of community. 

Our tasteful rooms feature private ensuites, comfortable furniture and fittings, built-in personal mobility aids and built-in wardrobes. Additional features include heating, air conditioning or ceiling fans and wall-mounted TVs. A 24/7 nurse call system is available in all rooms, giving you and your loved ones peace of mind. We also have a resident cat who calls Mercy Place Ave Maria home. 

Family and friends are always welcome at Mercy Place Ave Maria. Spend quality time in our intimate lounge rooms, three dining rooms, a chapel and a community centre where you can participate in a wide range of engaging activities. If you feel like a little pampering, book in with our on-site hairdresser.

Living your way Our home offers a warm, friendly environment with a strong focus on active ageing. You will find plenty of social and recreational activities to get involved in, including bowls, swimming, attending community social groups and tending to our raised garden beds. You will also have access to all the services you have come to expect, from physiotherapy and podiatry to pastoral care and hairdressing. 

Enjoy a coffee at the Glasshouse Café across the road, or catch the bus service to the local shopping centre or cinema, or to catch up with friends. We also have our own community centre shared by Home Care Services clients and our neighbouring Independent Living Units residents. Our residents are always invited to participate in special occasions such as musical or entertainment shows.
