Where enjoying life mattersHardi Summer Hill (also known as Wyoming) recently underwent a refurbishment to maintain its heritage sandstone and wrought iron facade. It now looks at home in the midst of the village atmosphere of Sydney’s inner west, amongst terrace houses and heritage buildings.
Set over three levels, Hardi Summer Hill has lift access and caters for residents with all levels of physical and cognitive health. PAC’s Ashfield residential aged care home has an ideal location in Sydney's inner west, just an easy walk to the Ashfield train station and 1 stop away from Burwood shopping mall (Westfield). Ashfield offers 3 distinct types of accommodation, each reflecting the level of care required. Basic, more complex, and dementia care. These are linked by 3 courtyards, giving the home a village-type feel, that gives residents a sense of community and of space. Having all 3 levels in the one location has the benefit that if your needs increase, you do not need to uproot and relocate. The home is also located across the street from our Pitt Wood retirement village so if your partner, sibling, or other loved one does not require a care home they can still be “next door”. Standard rooms & dementia rooms all have private ensuites, and more complex care is provided in special shared rooms which all have access to the large balcony that surrounds the building, with either a street or courtyard outlook. The dementia unit has recently been extensively renovated and offers a secure environment to prevent wandering. It is light, bright, open and residents can move about freely. It offers a peaceful environment through the careful use of colours and furnishings. A secure sensory garden tops it off to allow residents to enjoy the outdoors freely too.
Support & assistance is available for all these areas for showering, dressing, medication administration & supervision, nursing and personal care needs, all provided by our highly qualified, dedicated and experienced care staff who are available 24 hours a day. We also provide leisure and recreational programs that are designed to support, challenge and enhance the social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of individuals.
