Opened in July 2019, Aegis Amherst provides residential care with 133 beds across 4 wings included a memory support unit . On the same co located site is a 45 strata titled over 55's apartment development.

Murdoch Gardens Care Community is located in a peaceful neighbourhood adjacent to Murdoch University with a retirement village next door. Our Care Community is just 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD and is a spacious and elegant home with flourishing gardens. We have a warm, family-oriented atmosphere and encourage residents to stay connected with the local community.Our residents enjoy staying active and participating in community life. Our theatrette is popular for movie afternoons and our theatre nights are an opportunity to take to the stage or sit back and enjoy the entertainment. We’re a pet-friendly Care Community and welcome visits from animals large and small. Our resident gardeners tend to our flower beds and keep our plants looking beautiful. Catering for up to 57 residents, Joseph Cooke House in Shelley is located just 1km from the banks of the Canning River. The home features spacious single rooms (each with their own ensuite), wide corridors and multiple sun-lit sitting areas for residents and visitors to enjoy. Our qualified clinical care team are on site 24/7 and our compassionate and friendly staff are committed to providing excellent care in a comfortable and compassionate environment. All our residents have tailored care, activity, and dietary plans, and can take advantage of onsite amenities including a hairdressing salon and covered alfresco area with barbecue. The onsite chapel provides a place for quiet reflection, and residents are welcome to attend the regular mass services. We are passionate about providing choice to our residents so they can feel empowered to make their own decisions and continue to live their best life. Supporting the emotional wellbeing and happiness of our residents is one of our driving purposes. There’s always something happening in the shared activity areas with a lifestyle program packed with a range of engaging activities designed by our dedicated Lifestyle team. Built in 2001 and refurbished in 2018, Margaret Hubery House supports residents with high care needs and provides short-term respite accommodation for Rossmoyne’s aging community. Catering for up to 65 residents, Margaret Hubery House features wide corridors, multiple lounge areas and spacious single rooms each with their own ensuite. Our home encompasses design features which are of particular benefit to residents with dementia and/or mobility challenges. These include wide hallways, movement sensor lighting within residents’ rooms and emergency call bells located throughout communal areas. Residents can enjoy a variety of daily activities, such as entertainment, social activities and outings. We also offer aromatherapy, massage, music therapy and Pastoral Care support. In addition, there is a range of onsite amenities including a hairdressing salon and a peaceful chapel for quiet reflection and weekly mass services. The established, colourful and leafy gardens in the internal courtyards provide the perfect setting for a walk or to sit and have a cuppa while enjoying the fresh air. Our aged care homes have been designed to ensure residents feel comfortable and at home no matter the level of care they require. The home has a dedicated dementia enrichment living unit that offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment with customised lounge rooms and a courtyard to encourage residents to interact and enjoy the outdoors. In addition, Margaret Hubery House offers specialist support in our High Dependency Unit (HDU) care, which supports residents that live with a mental health diagnosis. Treeby Parklands Care Community is located opposite Calleya Park in Treeby. Our Care Community has been designed to foster a sense of community with our spacious living areas and landscaped tranquil gardens, ideal for catching up with family and friends.Our pet-friendly ‘Paws Café’ serves barista style coffee and delicious meals and snacks, and is a popular destination for our community. Our residents can choose to join in the many activities in Treeby Parklands including; our walking group, knitting club, gardening, music, or taking on a project in our popular Men’s Shed. We’re well connected with our local community and our retirement village neighbours join us regularly for a BBQ or morning tea. Located across from a popular local dog park, we have pets visiting our Care Community on a daily basis, before or after a run in the park or after enjoying a special treat from our café! Aegis Melville Aged Care is staffed by dedicated and highly trained nursing care personnel and employs the most advanced technology and equipment for residents’ comfort and safety, and for maintaining their independence. Additional support services are provided by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists and where appropriate, palliative care. Care plans are created to meet resident’s individual needs, including those with dementia and related symptoms. Places are also available for respite care where a need for short term support exists.
