Charm and a sense of place best describe Aegis’ Bassendean Lodge and Aged Care facility, which face each other on opposite sides of Hamilton Street, off historic Old Perth Road in the centre of the community.
At the heart of Bassendean Lodge is an old Uniting Church that was preserved as the dining room and part of the reception area. Glorious natural light floods through the original pointed arched stained glass windows, a theme that was extended to the residential wings by way of high and spacious atriums.
