Located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, Calvary Cessnock Retirement Community offers quality care accommodation to 296 residents across two residential care sites: Bimbadeen and Nulkaba.
Bimbadeen Residential Care accommodates 80 residents in a contemporary, home-like environment and also offers respite accommodation services. Residents are housed in single rooms in one of four lodges: Mount View (16 beds), Watagan (24 beds), Windemere (24 beds) and Mulbring (16 beds). Rooms are generous in size, each with an ensuite. Each lodge has a spacious lounge/dining area plus separate lounges/quiet rooms in each area. Two lodges, Mount View and Mulbring offer secure, dementia specific accommodation.
Nulkaba Residential Care offers contemporary accommodation for 216 residents and offers respite accommodation too. Residents are accommodated in one of eight lodges which contain a mixture of single and double rooms. Nulkaba offers 96 secure dementia specific accommodation places.

RFBI Kurri Kurri Masonic Village offers residents a country setting surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and local wild life. All rooms are single with ensuite, and generously proportioned.
The Village provides care and accommodation for 91 older Australians and includes a secure area with gardens for those living with dementia as well as specialised care rooms with ceiling hoists for higher care needs. The village also offers palliative care services with a Palliative Care Consultant.
Residents have access to a range of communal areas and smaller lounges within each wing. The village also offers 24 hour Registered Nurses and is located next to the Kurri Kurri District Hospital.

Green Hills Residential Care ServiceEast Maitland’s beautiful native bushland is the idyllic setting for Fresh Hope Care’s Green Hills Residential Care Service, where we have been part of the community for over 30 years.
Nestled on the edge of Brooklyn Park, Fresh Hope Care’s Green Hills Residential Care Service has 23 acres of open, landscaped grounds with gentle terrain and easy access. Within easy walking distance is the Green Hills Shopping Complex, and the bus to Maitland. Maitland and Newcastle have vibrant, multicultural communities catering for individual needs.
Green Hills comprises two facilities offering single, double and four-bed rooms as well as couples accommodation when available. We provide care to 111 permanent residents and respite visitors. Fresh Hope Care operates a retirement village at the same location.
Our full range of care enables Green Hills to offer ageing in place, so residents are able to remain here as their lives and needs change.
