Caring for the local community since 2002, Frank Prendergast House is centrally located in Success in Perth’s southern suburbs.
Our dedicated and well-trained team support our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are committed to enhancing the lives of our residents by providing clinical and personal care in a comfortable and compassionate environment.
Catering for up to 73 residents, Frank Prendergast House features wide corridors, multiple lounge areas for residents and visitors to enjoy and enclosed walkways between houses.
Supporting the emotional wellbeing and happiness of our residents is one of our driving purposes. Our aged care homes have been designed to ensure residents feel comfortable and at home.
Frank Prendergast House is a vibrant place to live, with a range of varied and engaging daily social activities designed by our dedicated Lifestyle team. Residents can also enjoy views of the garden or socialise in the large dining and living rooms, which are comfortably furnished and air-conditioned. We also have an activity room, hairdresser and a large screen TV with DVD player.
The on-site chapel provides a place for quiet reflection and our leafy outdoor space includes a garden area and a covered patio with a BBQ area that can be enjoyed all year round.
For residents with dementia, we have weekly visits from our Dementia Services team who assess and review the health and wellbeing of residents. They work closely with family members and staff to develop a personalised support plan, to ensure residents are comfortable and happy in their surroundings. In addition, we also offer High Dependency Unit (HDU) care, which supports residents that live with a mental health diagnosis.
Onsite parking is available. The Cockburn Train Station is about 2.1 km away and there is a bus stop just 750m from the home.
Bethanie Bert England Lodge is surrounded by greenery, and the 44 large rooms enjoy views of the gardens through large windows or shared balconies.
All rooms in this intimate and personal aged care home have built in wardrobes and private en-suites with sensor lighting.
Near parks, shops and the beach, Bert England Lodge provides 24-hour care for people with diverse needs including dementia, palliative care, and high care requirements.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the expansive grounds, and your friendly dogs are welcome to visit too.
