Hardi Aged Care Penrith is in walking distance to Panthers Leagues Club and its many entertainment precincts, Penrith Paceway and Penrith Markets. I t is also in close proximity to Westfield and Centro Shopping Centres and the Joan Sutherland Arts Centre. The Penrith railway, bus, and taxi terminals are close by and there is a free courtesy bus service that runs on a regular timetable passing the home several times every day.
Only a short drive from Hardi Blacktown, Hardi Seven Hills is also set in a quiet residential area. An older style building with recent refurbishments, Hardi Seven Hills is one of our larger facilities and accommodates over 100 residents in a combination of single and companion rooms.A modern outdoor terrace area is the perfect place for morning tea, while the panoramic views as far as the Blue Mountains provide the perfect backdrop to a community or family gathering. The staff at this facility are known for their love of barbecues, so both residents and staff enjoy a community barbecue at least once a month, usually more over the summer months.
Hardi Seven Hills is proud to offer an extra service unit at this facility. This unit includes larger single bedrooms and a lifestyle coordinator, who tailors activities and programs for individual residents. Our extra service unit also has a beautiful private dining area that opens up to an outdoor area, which is perfect for entertaining family and guests.
Cooinda has been an important community asset for Lithgow since 1968. The home has seen various additions and upgrades over the past 50 years and the recent addition of a brand new 36 bed wing signals the exciting next stage of development for Cooinda.Overview
Cooinda opened its doors in 1968 as a 25 bed hostel called Cooinda Aged People’s Homes. Nearby Tanderra was officially opened in March 1991 and the 40 bed facility was soon at capacity. Eight beds were added in 2001 bringing the total to 48 care beds.
Cooinda underwent a major re-fit in 2004 adding ensuites to all rooms and two new wings of 12 beds each. In 2019 building began on Stage 1 of the new development with the new lodge to accommodate 36 new ensuite rooms with state of the art facilities.

Team Structure
Our team consists of clinical staff and specialists, including registered nurses and personal care assistants available on-call, 24-hours a day. A leisure and lifestyle officer arranges activities and therapy. Team members are passionate, caring and friendly and go above and beyond to build a genuine rapport with residents and their family members.

Our highly qualified team appreciates that each resident has different needs and preferences and offers both times for interaction as well as independence and individuality.We are located in close proximity to Westpoint Shopping Centre, Blacktown City Council Library, Blacktown Arts Centre, Blacktown RSL Club, and Blacktown Showground. Local parks and medical facilities are also nearby. Access by public transport is via train to Blacktown train station and a short bus trip, which stops meters from the home.
An easy-to-access layout, with rooms conveniently located on the ground floor with twin and single configurations. The spacious St Marys aged care centre offers modern facilities and is beautifully styled in muted tones and gorgeous furnishings.
