Arcare opens in Taigum
Five-star luxury aged care is now on offer to seniors in Taigum, Queensland following the opening of Arcare’s newest resort-style aged care accommodation.
The new accommodation is Arcare’s 33rd residence in Australia and 13th in Queensland and features 93 spacious suites, all with private ensuite as well as the latest resort-style amenities including a boutique café, hair salon, theatre and a private dining room for residents to entertain family and friends.
Arcare Chief Executive Officer Colin Singh says the site was specially designed to accommodate the growing needs of people moving out of their homes and into residential care.
“Families can rest assured that their loved ones will be cared for to the highest standard thanks to our outstanding amenities, as well as our Dedicated Assignments, where team members work with the same small number of clients every time they come to work,” he says.
Mr Singh adds that Arcare Taigum will employ more than 100 staff, and that the provider also operates a home care division to those wishing to remain living in their local community, and provides transport, domestic, social and disability support services, as well as home care packages.
In addition to being opened officially on 7 September by Councillor for Deagon Ward, Jarred Cassidy, and Mr Singh, Arcare Taigum also hosted a community open day on Saturday 9 September.
Running from 9am-3pm, the open day allowed locals to tour the site, speak with a financial expert about accommodation fees or get advice on planning for future aged care needs.
