At Home with Dementia guide for dementia carers

The NSW government and Alzheimer’s Australia NSW have developed a guide for carers of people with dementia.

The new edition of At Home with Dementia offers practical advice on how to modify the home to better meet the needs of people with dementia.

Health, safety, safeguarding people from wandering and creating a calm environment in the home are just some of the issues included.

Call the National Dementia Helpline on 1800 100 500 to obtain a copy of the guide.
