Brisbane City Council sets up aged care taskforce
A Brisbane City Council retirement and aged care taskforce has been established by Lord Mayor Campbell Newman which will focus on allowing older people to remain in the same neighbourhood if moving into an aged care facility or retirement village.
Feedback on the taskforce’s role and opportunities for input, research and comment by the public will be made available shortly by the council.
