International dementia expert in VIC

An internationally acclaimed Alzheimer’s expert will be presenting two seminars in Melbourne this week on a Montessori approach to providing care to people with dementia.

Dr Cameron Camp is a Research Professor of Psychology at the University of New Orleans who has spent 16 years teaching academic courses on adult development and ageing.

Dr Camp has co-authored three college textbooks and published over 100 journal articles in publications such as the The Gerontologist and the Experimental Ageing Research.

The seminars will be held on Thursday, 11 December. The first seminar will be held at 9.30 am at the Heritage Lakes Aged Care Residence in South Morang (879 Plenty Rd).

Another seminar will be held in the afternoon at Docklands (Level 1, 757 Bourke St) at 2.30 pm.
