Running from 29-31 August, The Grace Hotel in Sydney will play host not only to Australia’s Future of Aged Care Summit, but also the Dementia Care Delivery Summit.

Featuring a number of national and international industry speakers, some key speakers of the co-located summits include: Tom Wright, CEO AGE UK; Minister for Aged Care, Ken Wyatt; IRT Care Business Manager, Matt Hough; and Founder of Group Homes Australia, Tamar Krebs.

Speakers at the Australia’s Future of Aged Care Summit will look to focus on the ongoing aged care reform changes, struggles associated with the reform, and will aim to provide aged care professionals with the tools to remain financially sustainable, and provide practical strategies on attracting and retaining customers, and much more.

While the Dementia Care Delivery Summit has been designed to develop the capacity of dementia care providers to deliver optimal care for people with dementia by creating a commercial model for growth and service delivery, as the number of those living with dementia continues to rise.

“Dementia is already the core business of aged care, with over 50 percent of older people in residential aged care living with the illness,” Clare Mansbridge, Conference Producer for Akolade says.

“Due to the recent changes to the funding of care services under the aged care reforms, a cloud of uncertainty hangs over the direct outcomes for people living with dementia.

“The Dementia Care Delivery Summit for 2017 has been designed to develop the capacity of providers to provide optimal care for people with dementia.

“Attendees will hear from aged care providers who are leading the way in the space and take away strategies to develop a commercial model for growth and service delivery.”

With past events being labelled ‘informative, insightful and thought-provoking’, the Akolade’s Aged Care Forum 2017 is an industry event not to be missed.

A pass to either the Australia’s Future of Aged Care Summit or the Dementia Care Delivery Summit will give full access to all sessions at both events.

Early Bird registrations are now open until 11 August 2017. Find out more and register for your summit pass online, via email or by calling 02 9247 6000.
