The organisation has announced current Director Peter Wohl will become the Chairman of the group on 1 October this year.

Two new Directors have been appointed – current Chief Financial Officer Glenn Scott and Michelle Sloane, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer.

Ms Sloane has worked with SummitCare for four years and will assume the position of Director/Chief Executive Officer, while Mr Scott will become Director/Chief Financial Officer.

Incoming Chairman Mr Wohl says the changes will prepare the organisation for the future but have not changed its underlying purpose.

“Our focus remains on our residents and our staff wellbeing, the increasing complexity and compliance requirements of the aged care industry, and our growth and sustainability as we navigate our way through the current COVID-19 pandemic,” he says.

“We are extremely proud of these appointments and look forward to an exciting future ahead as leaders in the aged care Industry.”
