National compact meetings around Australia

Over the next two months, the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), in conjunction with the state and territory Councils of Social Service (COSS’) will be running forums on the development of a national ‘compact’ between the Government and the not-for-profit sector.

The following dates and locations for all states and territories except NSW, ACT and Victoria have been set.

Unless otherwise noted, the seminars run from 9am-1pm each day:

  • Friday 5 September  – Alice Springs
  • Monday 8 September  – Darwin
  • Tuesday 9 September  – Brisbane (plus 2:00pm – 3:30pm Consultation as part of Jobs Australia Conference)
  • Wednesday 10 September  – Townsville (Consultation as part of the Queensland COSS Conference)
  • Friday 12 September  – Adelaide
  • Friday 19 September  – Hobart: 2:00pm – 5:30pm
  • Friday  26 September  – Perth
