New appointments – National Seniors and RVA

Kate Hamond

Michael O’Neill, the former head of Gold Council in Melbourne, Farmers Federation and Agforce in Queensland has been appointed as chief executive officer (CEO) of National Seniors. He replaces the long serving David Deans who announced his retirement last month. O’Neill takes over at the end of September.

Kate Hamond, the former Victorian Legal Ombudsman has been appointed the new CEO of the Retirement Villages Association of Australia. She has also worked in the community and consumer areas, including for the Victorian Office of Fair Trading and Business Affairs.
