New Asthma book updates treatment
The 6th edition of the National Asthma Council’s Asthma Management Handbook, which updates the previous guidelines issued to Australian medical and health professionals, has been released.
The report is the first official update on medications, devices and other recommendations since 2002.
The handbook cautions sufferers about the condition’s newly discovered links with depression and tackles the growing trend towards complementary therapies.
