New purchasing system for non-profit organisations
Ezybuy Australia is a new online purchasing facility that will provide non-profit organisations a cost-effective way to purchase goods and services in 2007.
It has been developed by Nonprofit Australia with Commonwealth Government assistance and in partnership with the Macquarie Bank Foundation for the exclusive use of the non-profit sector.
A feasibility study found that major non-profit organisations were paying 8-30% more for common consumables than competitive sourcing could offer.
Ezybuy Australia has negotiated contracts for office supplies, commercial printing, IT hardware and travel, and other products will be offered as the service expands.
