Prepare for Our Future Today

This is the theme for the campaign of the aged care industry in the lead
up to the Federal Election .

Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) and Aged Care Association Australia (ACAA) will run a joint campaign as the Aged Care Industry Council (ACIC) using the strengths and networks of both organisations.

The campaign was launched outside an aged care service in Canberra,
today( 29 March). It will focus on: funding levels, service levels, workforce issues , and services for disadvantaged people in rural and
remote Australia.

Officials from both organisations, assembled residents, guests and media representatives farewelled a truck carrying a billboard from the launch site. The truck- with the slogan- Will you still need me, will you still feed me…when I’m 74? Will tour the Canberra and southern NSW regions before campaigning in Sydney.
