The ACT Intergenerational Forum 30 October 2007

This half-day event in Canberra will see research students and keynote speakers discuss important themes in ageing from their areas of research and expertise.

Topics will range from volunteering in later life to prolonging safe driving to baby boomers’ attitudes towards retirement.

There will also be two discussion forums, which will allow public input and the sharing of ideas.

This forum is supported by the Research Network in Ageing Well and the ACT Ministerial Advisory Council on Ageing.

It will be held at the Old Canberra House, ANU on 30 October 2007 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

It is being organised by the ACT student branch of the Australian Association of Gerontology and is free with lunch and refreshments provided.
