Uniting AgeWell Barwon Home Care support seniors to remain living at home, safely and independently, for as long as possible. With home care, social support and respite and carer services, including day activities and outings.
We offer Home Care Packages in the LGAs of Greater Geelong, Golden Plains and Surf Coast.
Home Care Packages support you with assistance such as:
- Personal and domestic care
- Clinical care
- Assistive technology
- Support with shopping
- Gardening
- Assistance attending a social activity
- Other community support.
The amount of support provided to you depends on the Home Care Package level you receive.
You may also get involved with the Kalkee Community Club, which has operated in Belmont for more than 11 years. The Community Club offers flexible social programs, including centre-based activities and community outings, are tailored to support individual needs with a focus on positive ageing.
The Community Club also provides Geelong’s first Younger Onset Dementia Group. The Hello Monday group supports young people with the condition and their carers, with age-appropriate activities and outings.
