All rooms are single with an ensuite bathroom. St Bernadette’s also provides a safe and comfortable home for people living with dementia, enhanced by the availability of a specialist 15-bed dementia care unit.
Seasonal menu selections prepared by an on-site Chef cater for a variety of tastes, choices and special dietary requirements. This Sunshine aged care residence is also home to a beautiful chapel, accessible at all times for spiritual enhancement.
A stimulating program of meaningful activities based on the interests of residents is enriched by the contributions of volunteers and community groups. Activities include music and dance recitals, an exercise program, cultural events, regular excursions, crafts, creative storytelling, games and special celebrations.
Sunshine North is one of Melbourne’s most culturally-diverse suburbs, offering a variety of authentic food and social experiences. It will also soon be well-connected with the establishment of the Regional Rail Link.
