Waratah Community is a small independent living community of 30 villas and a Community Centre – The Waratah Clubhouse.
The village opened for the first residents to purchase in January of 2007.
The village is located in the Port Bouvard area of Wannanup, Port Bouvard straddles the famous Dawesville channel, it lies with the Indian ocean on the West, and to the East are the wide expanses of the Peel Harvey Estuary system, the largest permanent island waterway in Australia.
There are two entries to the village. Entry via Caspian Drive for the residents and their visitors and entry via 748 Old Coast road for visitors and guests to the office and Clubhouse facilities.
