How long have you been with DPS?

I have been with the company for just under six months. It has been great working with such a tight-knit team who are passionate about the aged care and disability sectors.

What is your role?

I am the National Business Manager at DPS. It’s been good coming back to Australia after nine months overseas. I have even been able to return and work with an old colleague! So working here has been an easy transition.

What are some of the things you’ve learnt in this role at DPS?

I have learnt a lot about DPS and how it is an industry leader in the aged care and NDIS industry print and digital market. I am excited to be getting involved in this space and making a difference in these sectors.

What is the best thing about working for DPS?

I enjoy coming to the office after being in lockdown for two years in Melbourne, additionally, having colleagues to sit next to and chat with has been really great as well. I really like having that connection with my coworkers and clients.

What is the best thing you have worked on?

So far, I have been working with several aged care and disability service clients to bring results that achieve their objectives and vacancies. I enjoy helping people and doing voluntary work, so working at DPS has been a great opportunity to work within these important spaces. And I also enjoy building relationships with these industry professionals.

What is your greatest achievement?

Being able to meet and work with DPS staff has been fantastic, they are wonderful people and, yes, meeting great people is an achievement! I am also working with a few new clients to help them connect with customers.

Now for the fun questions!

Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?

I would have to say India, I am Indian but if you go deeper into India there is so much beauty. I lived there for nine years when I was a child in Gujarat, so I have a lot of fond memories of India. When people ask me for recommendations on where to visit, I always say to go to the regional areas of India instead of the top five or ten destinations you can find through a Google search.

What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

I would be happy and able to talk about NBA basketball for hours. I have had a passion for all sports, but particularly Basketball, ever since I was a teenager. I still play basketball but used to play a lot more when I was younger. My team is the Dallas Mavericks and my favourite player of all time was Michael Jordan.

Who would play you in your biopic?

I would play me in my own biopic, I think I am the only one who would be able to express my life journey correctly. But I would definitely need to brush up on my acting skills for the big screen!
